You follow people on Instagram, Facebook, X or other platforms because they have content.
Celebrities, experts in a field that you learn from, people you look up to, and so on.
When we look at content that sells, good writing is the best way to get attention, attract more clients, grow your business, show people you’re a pro at what you do, and beat competition.
Being a good writer borders on having a superpower.
There is just one problem… most writing is absolutely awful. Boring, hard to read, rambling, sleep inducing.
It doesn’t matter where you live or what language you speak, this problem is everywhere.
Why? There are more than enough reasons. School has failed us. Writing isn’t speaking. And most people have never picked up on the tricks you can use to breathe life into whatever you’re writing.
Grammar is also important, english may not be your primary language and it’s all good. You can always learn and improve.
The “why” doesn’t matter, what does matter is the “how”, specifically…
How To Become A Content Wizard
You could write the world’s best article or make the most compelling argument… and it wouldn’t matter if they clicked off before you got to the point.
When someone sees a block of words that looks like something a toddler just puked, they will not even attempt to read ALL that.
Your writing needs to be organized, understandable, stroke-free, and something that a human being would say to another human being.
Well if you speak with aliens, you might be the first person to ever do that.
But since we’re talking to people, plenty of written content is over complicated. If you read it out loud, it sounds like an AI wrote it.
The most important question to ask yourself is:
Would someone say this to me in a conversation?
If the answer is no, it doesn’t pass The BAR Test. If you’re thinking “what is this BAR Test?”, don’t worry, we’ll get into that shortly.
Let’s take a look at how to write…
Content That Will Keep People Glued To Reading
I’m going to give you the tips and tricks that you can use to write articles, videoscripts, blog posts, tweets and much more. To make it better, we’re doing it in a non-boring way.
I don’t care about the subject of a sentence or an ‘intransitive verb’ or a ‘demonstrative pronoun’. We’re going to leave all that to the English teachers.
The first step is always to seduce someone into reading whatever you wrote. Meaning, it doesn’t have to be an overflood of words that looks like a brick wall.
The reader wouldn’t even dare and try to keep up between the lines.
Imagine a newspaper: lots of lines formatted very close together. You look at that page and your brain says: ‘pfffff, do we really have to read ALL that?’.
Now look at the article you’re reading right now.
⠀
Looks a lot more digestible compared to a newspaper, doesn’t it?

That’s because I make it easy for you to get into. Short paragraphs, easy to understand, no fancy language. This is just the start, there are more things to take in consideration and we’ll look at them in the next part.
